What is CBT-I?

CBT-I (I for Insomnia) coaches patients to identify feelings, thoughts and behaviors that are contributing to the symptoms of insomnia and helps reframe any misconceptions for better sleep.

Why CBT-I?

The American College of Physicians recommends CBT-I as the first-line treatment for all adults with chronic insomnia. Because CBT-I is noninvasive, it is likely to have fewer harms, whereas sleeping pills can be associated with serious adverse events. It is also known to have better long term efficacy over pharmacotherapy. With more than 20 years of research, CBT-I has become the gold standard of insomnia care.
